Etsy store website and logo redesign: Whimsy and Hot Glue

An artist who ran an Etsy shop approached me about redesigning their website. The artist had made the website themselves with a make-your-own website builder and was not happy with the results.

Website and copy

This project included educating the artist on landing pages, hero images, and gallery pages. I helped the artist lay out their work and take some photos for an updated hero image. I used bright colors and large images of their work whenever possible. To help build trust we also displayed reviews from recent customers. We also added a FAQ and contact page with the same style.

Unfortunately this site/shop didn’t survive the pandemic, so I only have images of it.

Logo design

I also redesigned the logo to be a more clean, professional, scalable image. The artist always wanted their logo to be a reference to their cat, I took their original logo and designed a few potential options that would stand out and scale to various sizes easier. The logo project was fun to draw as I am also a fan of cats.
