Hi, I'm Pat!

I’m a web/print designer and digital marketing consultant in Medford, MA. I’m that person seemingly everyone in my circle turns to when they have a problem that even remotely involves technology or design.

This website is both my portfolio and blog. I will post about some of my more interesting projects, both professional and personal.

I’ll also post about things I’m passionate about/interested in from time to time; hockey, movies, games, music, etc. Feel free to reach out and connect/ask about any of it!

Salary Source

Salary Source was a project I was involved in from the very start. The objective was to take a long dormant HR tool and relaunch/rebrand it. I did market research, led naming and branding efforts, developed a brand inventory, marketing strategy, and all marketing materials and copy, designed and launched the site, and overhauled UX of the application.

Chaffee Carpentry

The client had a long history of success but was losing customers to young contractors with more web presence. Completely overhauled a 20 year old website into a modern site with lots of gallery pages.

Sunny Side Counseling

Worked with a therapist to start their private practice. We developed her brand, created a friendly name and logo, and wrote meaningful copy used on both the website and in profiles on therapist directory sites.

Gentle Transitions Website

The client came to me with a business idea, and together we developed a name, a brand, and copy for the website.

Personal Trainer Website

Compensation Statement

I worked with the HR department of a video game publisher to create a template for their annual compensation/increase summary for employees.

Cryptid Caper Player Handbook

A 26 page handbook I made for a home-brewed table top role playing game. Designed to be stylish, fun, and easy to read for players.

D&D Quick Reference Materials

I designed color-coded cards for quickly referencing my character’s expansive list of spells in D&D. I also developed a smaller, sleek character sheet/stat sheet to reference quickly during play.

Cryptid Caper Character Sheet

I worked with the writer of the rules to develop a character sheet that would be easy for players to use during play. I also designed a logo and an acceptance letter for the game’s fictional college setting.

Resume Redesigns

During the summer of 2024, I had multiple clients ask for resume help. Not only did I design a user friendly format, but I also worked with clients to develop better content.

Fitness Center Rules Poster

A gated community was looking to display some rules in their gym. I took their proposed rules and organized them in a visually eye catching and direct way on a poster for them to hang in their gym.

Working with a local therapist, we not only brainstormed the name of their private practice, but I also proposed several logo designs.

An artist who ran an Etsy shop approached me about redesigning their website. The artist had made the website themself with a make-your-own website builder and did not like the results.

Diana Barry Personal Training Brand

A physical therapist came to me looking to start a small business and develop their brand and some print marketing materials. We developed a logo, business cards, messaging and visual guidelines.

Goodnotes Custom Day Planner

I couldn’t find any pdf/blank template pages that included all that I wanted in a day planner, exactly how I wanted it, so I made my own. Made in Affinity for iPad; I wanted to try something other than Adobe.

I went through several revisions and ideas, all based off my naming and branding efforts with the client.

Gallupe-Barry Wedding Website

We wanted a really fun and inviting website that was clear, accessible, and had lots of information for all of our guests.

Marinara Trench Poster/Shirt

Client wanted a travel poster playing on a friends mispronunciation of Mariana’s trench as marinara. Used Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce a graphic that was also printed on a shirt.

Dirty Dancing Shirt Graphic

Client requested a shirt graphic that stylized the sister character from Dirty Dancing with specific quote. Utilized Procreate to draw the “But Daddy” to match the movie title font, finished in Illustrator.
